SUPPORTING LEFT HAND: First of all, please purchase your books through Left Hand (even if you can get them a little cheaper on the Internet or at a corporate store, unless the difference in price is more important to you than the continued existence of the store!) If we don't have what you want in stock, we can usually get it for you in a week or so. In addition, you can help ensure the continued operation of the store by becoming an ASSOCIATE MEMBER, which entitles you to a 10% discount on all purchases at the store. Membership is $25/year, or $10 for students and low income folks. As an alternative, you can volunteer to staff the store, earning our highest discount, 20%. Sign up for either membership or volunteering the next time you're in the store. Finally, we have a new supply of the Left Hand T-shirt (with our logo on the front and a Noam Chomsky quote on the back). All recipients of this announcement need to consume at least one!
Thanks!
